CCCONFETTI is an independent editorial research project directed by Rosita Palladino and operated from the United States.

Rosita Palladino is the project contact and the person responsible for the website’s editorial and privacy practices. For privacy questions, corrections, accessibility support, permissions or rights concerns, email info@ccconfetti.com.

CCCONFETTI has no user accounts, subscriptions, advertising, ecommerce or on-site submission system.

The website is designed to collect as little information about visitors as possible.

Information processed when you visit

The site is hosted by Vercel. Like other web hosts, Vercel processes technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. This may include an IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device information, requested page, referring page, date and time, and security or performance events.

CCCONFETTI does not maintain a visitor database. At the date of this notice, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights are not installed, and CCCONFETTI does not use advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or first-party tracking.

Map service

When you open the Map page, your browser requests the map style and tiles directly from OpenFreeMap. OpenFreeMap states that it uses no cookies and does not keep IP addresses in its regular logs, although it may temporarily log IP addresses during a security incident and may use Cloudflare to deliver its service. Email

If you contact CCCONFETTI by email, the project receives the address you use and the message and files you choose to send. They are used to answer you and, where relevant, to document an editorial correction, contribution, permission or rights decision. Correspondence is kept only while it remains necessary for those purposes or for a legal record.

Purposes and legal grounds

Technical information is processed to deliver the website, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and maintain security. Email is processed to respond to the request you initiate. Where a law requires a legal basis, these activities rely on the project’s legitimate interests in publishing and securing the archive, taking steps at your request, compliance with legal duties, or consent where expressly requested.

Sharing and international processing

CCCONFETTI does not sell personal information, share it for targeted advertising or build visitor profiles. Technical information is processed by Vercel and, on the Map page, OpenFreeMap and its delivery providers. Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where these providers operate. It may also be disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect the website and its users.

Retention

Hosting and security logs are retained according to the provider’s settings and policies and only for as long as needed for delivery, troubleshooting, security and legal obligations. For more detail, see Vercel’s privacy notice.

Cookies and privacy signals

CCCONFETTI currently sets no cookies or similar identifiers, so there is no consent banner. Because the site does not sell, share or use personal information for targeted advertising, Global Privacy Control and “Do Not Track” signals do not change its behaviour. If optional tracking is added later, this notice and any required choices will be updated before it is enabled.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or an objection to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. Send a request to info@ccconfetti.com. CCCONFETTI may need enough information to verify and answer the request, but will not ask for more than is reasonably necessary.

Children

The archive is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. CCCONFETTI does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.

These terms govern use of the CCCONFETTI website. There are no paid services, accounts or subscriptions.

Using the archive

You may browse, link to and cite the archive, and download files that are expressly offered for download, for personal study, teaching, criticism or research. Any reproduction or republication must comply with applicable law, preserve attribution and respect the rights information attached to the material.

Editorial status

CCCONFETTI is an evolving research publication. It aims to distinguish reviewed facts, interpretation, unknowns and pending rights information, but errors and omissions can occur. Celebration dates, access conditions and external information may change. The archive is not professional, legal, safety or travel advice. Corrections are welcome.

Responsible use

Do not interfere with the operation or security of the site, misrepresent CCCONFETTI or its contributors, remove credits or rights notices, or use the archive in a way that infringes the rights of others. Automated access must remain reasonable and must not degrade the service.

Material sent by email

Sending a correction, proposal or source does not transfer ownership to CCCONFETTI and does not guarantee publication. You confirm that you are entitled to share the material for review. Publication terms and credit will be agreed separately where permission is required.

External services and links

The website links to third-party sources and uses external hosting and map infrastructure. Those services are responsible for their own content, availability and practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

Availability and responsibility

The site is provided on an “as available” basis and may be corrected, updated, suspended or withdrawn. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CCCONFETTI does not make warranties about uninterrupted availability or the completeness of third-party information, and is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on that information. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes

Material changes to these terms will be published on this page with a new revision date. Continued use after an update is subject to the revised terms, without limiting mandatory rights that apply where you live.

CCCONFETTI aims to make its research readable and navigable across devices, input methods and assistive technologies.

The project works toward semantic structure, keyboard access, visible focus, descriptive image text, reduced-motion support and readable long-form layouts. Archival source files and some third-party documents may not yet meet the same standard.

If a page, image, PDF or interaction is difficult to use, email info@ccconfetti.com with the page URL and the format or support you need. The project will try to provide the information in an accessible alternative and correct the barrier.

Copyright and permissions belong to different authors, researchers, photographers, institutions and other rights holders across the archive.

Credits and known rights status are attached to the relevant entry or material. Unless an explicit licence says otherwise, publication on CCCONFETTI does not grant permission to republish, adapt or commercially use an essay, image, PDF, research output or dataset. Uses allowed by applicable law, including quotation or fair use where available, are not restricted by these terms.
